Golding

Primary Hop Varieties

YIELD: 1,200-1,500lbs/acre

ALPHA ACIDS: 4-5 %

BETA ACIDS: 2 - 3 %

COHUMULONE: 25%

OIL: 0.5 ml/100 g.

MAJOR TRAITS: pleasant continental aroma properties; highly regarded in England

OTHER INFORMATION: This hop is sometimes also called Canterbury Golding, after the town in the Kent region of England. Microbrewers and Craft brewers in the US are the major customers of Golding.
